Dear Mr. Rogers,
For me,
the combination of engineering, art and architecture, and the opportunity to
combine my technical talents with my artistic skills make drafting a highly
fulfilling career. I'm a team-oriented professional architectural drafter with
five years of experience and excellent communication, technical and technology
skills. I'm writing today to apply for your open Drafter position because I
know my passions, skills and experiences have prepared me well for the job. I
look forward to bringing those skills and experiences to your team.
I've always loved technical drawing, so when I
discovered drafting in college I knew I had found my future career. Indeed,
after graduating with top honors in my major and on my senior thesis in
Architecture, I became a Junior Drafter at BBCM Arch World. I developed my
computer software skills and learned how to support the senior-level staff.
After just two years, the company promoted me to Associate Drafter. In this
position I continued to develop my technical skills and lead my own projects. I
look forward to bringing these skills to my next Drafter role.
In conclusion, I believe I'm a highly suitable candidate for the drafter
position, and that my values and skills make me a particularly good fit for the
company. Thank you for your time, and please feel free to contact me by cell
phone or email with any more questions
Yours
Sincerly,
Athar
Those were the things and examples in the application letter; hopefully it can help all of you.
See you on the next blog...
